Week 2

Well, Mitch was evicted. No skin off my ass. I would rather have seen Tom walk out the door, but this early in the game - as long as it's not me, I don't care much who leaves.

I really wanted to win the 2nd HOH. I think it would have been a good way to solidify some alliances. Get promises out of people, and also show them that I'm still around. I haven't been totally outgoing with this group, so I think there are a lot of people who feel like I'm not around.

When Anthony won, I was almost certain that I would be nominated. He and I haven't talked much. We have played in some other games before, but we never talked much then either. I was holding my breath in that nomination ceremony. My key was last, but at least it was there.

Afterwards I talked to Anthony and thanked him for keeping me safe. I told him that I would repay the favor when I have the chance. He also told me that he is targeting Liz, and I told him that I would vote against Liz if that's what he wants. Basically, I'm just trying to keep myself off the block in case veto gets used.

Anthony knows that Liz & Tyler are friends, and I'm pretty sure that's the real reason that he nominated them together. I also think that he may be aligned with Eric since Eric wants Liz out pretty badly.

Oh and also - while I am glad to have been kept off the block, I was disappointed to see Tyler and Liz there. I like them both, and hope something can happen so they both get to stick around. If the nominations are kept the same, I will be voting to evict Liz though. Not only did I tell Anthony that I would, but I also trust Tyler more.

Ok so... veto is over. I know there's a chance I could go up, but I am not too nervous. I had a nice chat with Anthony after noms, and I sent him this pm following veto:

Hey Anthony. I wanted to talk to you about something I've been hearing. Apparently there's a girls alliance that consists of Kathleen, Liz, Sheree, and Donnann. I thought there might be, but now that Kathleen has vetoed Liz, I think it's probably true.
What are your thoughts on putting together a guys alliance or something to counter them. Maybe you, me, Eric, Warren? I would be in for that if you were.


All of that is true - I have heard there is an alliance consisting of those 4 girls. And I know everyone hates Eric, but I don't care. I'd allign myself with him at this point in order to secure some time in the house. Plus, he's a bigger target to the other alliance than I am. Hopefully Anthony will agree to this and nominate someone like Donnann.

Ok well....

Tyler is lame. He's a friend from other games, but he's quitting. He sent everyone a pm asking to be voted out. And I even talked to him and told him that I thought we could try to save him. He still said no. He wants to leave the game. I get the whole putting school ahead of the game. Totally understandable. But I just don't like quitters. Never have. Never will. But hey... do what you gotta do.

The good news is that Kathleen used the veto on Liz. Bad move, Kathleen. I understand wanting to protect an ally, but Liz would have been safe if the nominees would have stayed the same. So the only thing that Kathleen has done is make a VERY public acknowledgment of an alliance. And that can be very threatening to people. Especially when I'm sure there are others in this game who are feeling a little bit alone.

So Tyler will go home. But this gives me a great opportunity to wrangle in some of the others and hopefully put together a group of concrete allies.
